TREVETHAN: the details
Trevethan is a luxury holiday rental property in the centre of Rock, Cornwall, providing high quality self-catering accommodation
for up to 8 people. It is situated close to beaches at Daymer Bay and Polzeath which are a short drive away making it an ideal
spot for a perfect vacation. There is easy access to surfing, golfing, sailing, windsurfing, cycling and walking activities.
As a self-catering holiday home to let, Trevethan was awarded a 4-star rating by Visit Britain Quality in Tourism at
its last assessment. It is one of few self-catering holiday properties to let in Rock
that offers more than one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
Lay-out and facilities
Accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 ensuite), and a light, bright, open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting
area. The interior is furnished in contemporary style and finished to a high standard.
The vaulted sitting area has a wall-mounted digital high definition TV receiving freeview channels and a DVD player. There
is Wi-Fi broadband at the property enabling you to check e-mails or google a local attraction if you bring a laptop.
The kitchen is well equipped with granite worktops, a
ceramic electric hob and 2-oven cooker/grill, full-size (very quiet) Smeg dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer,
additional fridge, and a drinks fridge in the utility room. Quality cutlery and plenty
of crockery, glassware and cookware are provided.
There is a separate utility and storage room with sink, washing
machine, tumble-dryer, and ironing facilities. Wetsuits can be washed in the 'wetsuit wash' (hosepipe and large tub) in the
garden and hung to dry outside on the rotary clothes line or in the utility room. Surfboards, beach toys and luggage
can be stored in the utility room too. We provide a few bodyboards and games which you are welcome to
use.
Garden
Trevethan has a private, secure, fully-enclosed rear garden with paved and lawn areas, where children can
play safely. At the side of the house there is room to stow bicycles behind a locked gate. Up to three cars can be parked
off-road on the driveway.
No smoking or pets
We regret we do not permit smoking at the property and have a no pets policy.

(one bed is full size and one is 9 inches shorter than average)
- a Futon in the sitting room converts to a 4 foot
double bed for an overnight guest
- all beds have a choice of 10.5-tog or
4.5-tog duvets and additional blankets for cooler weather. Doubles have memory
foam-topped mattresses
- you may bring your own linen/towels or we can
supply for £50 extra
- spacious family bathroom has WC, bath with shower
that can be fixed overhead or hand-held, and a separate walk-in shower
Double doors from the sitting room lead on to a large stone patio with teak table, benches, and barbecue. The garden gets plenty of sun, has a lawned area bordered by trees,shrubs and flowers and
is private and secluded.
Disability access
Being a bungalow, with all accommodation on one level, the property has no internal steps to negotiate.
There are a couple of steps from each doorway to the exterior; no handrails are provided.
